I-Kiln

i-Kiln offers ceramics, throwing, raku firing and reduction firing workshops for beginners and longtime pottery lovers in the evenings and on weekends. Its 3,000-square-foot workshop is fully equipped and there is a library of pottery books. Courses involve eight two-and-a-half-hour classes in English or Cantonese and fees include materials.

Klei Pottery Studio

Opened in 1991, Klei offers pottery classes. Children's classes are held Friday afternoons. Courses are in blocks of eight lessons and fees include materials and firing. You can also book private sessions for up to five people on Sundays (book at least three days in advance) - great for families.

The Pottery Workshop

Offers a variety of ceramics workshops and courses for all levels, in such techniques as hand-building, molding, throwing and glazing. Each course is usually seven sessions with daytime and evening classes available, call or email for schedule. Runs special groups and individual workshops, and sells ceramic works by local artists. Commissions welcome.
