As part of Alison Letterland, this pre-school center offers a happy, loving environment for two-hour classes covering a very simple introduction to the UK National Curriculum's Early Years Foundation Course. Open to children from 6 months to 3 years. Web cameras and a password-protected internet link allow you to watch your baby even when you're at work. The Step 2 program is for 2-3-year-olds.

The HKPPA is an umbrella organization that links seven playgroups across Hong Kong. Originally based on the British PPA, it emphasizes learning through play, encouraging children to explore at their own pace and make their own choices and discoveries. Parental involvement is encouraged. The Borrett Road playgroups include City Kidz, a kindergarten for children aged two years nine months to six years, and Parent and Toddler playgroups (children aged 10 months to three years). The Woodland Group operates 10 pre-schools on Hong Kong Island offering an all-round education for children aged from 18 months to six years.
