Parachuting takes place once a month in Hong Kong and on the mainland. You must be able to pack your own 'chute. Training available - including two full days at the Hong Kong Aviation Club, a three- to four-day trip to the mainland, a one-time parachute jump, plane ticket, accommodation and food.

The Hong Kong Paragliding Association (HKPA) is licensed to undertake paragliding activities at selected sites, normally on the Dragon's Back in Shek O. Anyone undertaking paragliding activities here is required to possess a HKPA pilot license or an overseas pilot license that the HKPA recognizes. HKPA doesn't offer lessons but can recommend instructors and schools in places such as India, Bali, Australia, North America and Taiwan.

Sky Adventure

Sky Adventure provides private instruction in paragliding for beginners and club pilot license holders. Approved by the government, courses are offered in Ma On Shan and Sai Kung for beginners and Shek O and Lantau for advanced students. Instruction is offered in both English and Chinese.
