Novices and new members are always welcome at this laid-back, sociable club. It has space for 70 small sailing boats, kayaks and outrigger canoes pulled up at the end of DB beach. Members do a decent trade in barely used catamarans and dinghies. Club sailing/racing takes place every other Sunday, and usually follows the format of three races back to back. This is supplemented by social sails and cruises. Has eight qualified instructors offering sailing training year-round. Alternatively, show up on a race day and volunteer to crew for one of the boats, there's usually a shortage.
